Treehouse Consulting Group, LLC. was founded in 2010, on the heels of the 3 year Great Recession. At this point, companies of all sizes were continuing to cut back on key employees with years of industry experience and expertise - left with the crucial and sometimes fatal decision to sacrifice the captain to save the ship. These decisions where only justified, not by the lack of need, but by the sheer lack of financial resources to support the cost of keeping those roles filled.

The need never subsided…

In fact, it grew as the primary financial decision makers were now either lost or severely handicapped. This placed a premium on the demand for a financially savvy mind at a more forgiving cost.  At this point, conventional perceptions of requiring a full-time financial chief was challenged, creating an opportunity for both companies and professionals to fill the gap with an effective alternative.

Since then, outsourcing roles have grown significantly in popularity and overall utilization.  Modular work formats are the 'en vogue' way to structure your business.  Inviting more creative minds to work in a collaborative environment, pushing back on the traditional 'siloed' management structures that make ridged, formulaic attempts at solving the same problems with the same old solutions.
